I am a researcher at the Mannheimer Center for European Social Research (MZES) at the University of Mannheim (Germany). I obtained my PhD in communication science at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna (Austria). My primary research focuses on interpersonal communication, deliberation, political offline and online communication and European integration processes. In addition, I am interested in media reception and its effects on public opinion. I am also fascinated by computational methods and love playing around in R and Python; in particular I am interested in topic modeling and social and semantic network analysis.
